How important is Java for senior backend engineers?

I’m currently an SDE3 at 7 YOE with majority of it in Node.js/Typescript. Was applying out but got outright rejected at few companies due to no prior Java experience. Have a verbal acceptance from a company in Java, should I be prioritising that over others to learn the stack for future?
