How good is my salary , i just joined an organisation.

Fair as per the current market situation. Underpaid as per general expectations of you’ve had some prior experience in Product based companies or even startups.

I thought deutsche paid better.

Your salary is good, but with 8yoe, you can push upwards of 40 lpa.

For example - At Amazon, SDE-1 base is 20 lakhs, and joining bonus, etc etc you get around 25-27 in hand.

After 2-3 years, if you get promo to SDE-2 , the base is 40 lakhs + rsu’s .

Now Amazon’s pay is on higher end for SDE2’s , but considering 8 yoe, i think 24 lakh can be underpaid based on your prior experience.
