How go get exemption to WFH .. could anyone share some ideas.i need to work from home for 1 months due to some personal reason

They approve it for very few reasons, medical is one of them. But they're being so stupid on this so it's a lengthy process. You can raise a BTO exemption in Success Factors, your people manager should approve it, and then your BU head should

Correct, even if your people manager approves, BU head will take some time I don't know why,so better to talk with them before.

Just one question, are you an employee who's on bench? If no then just go home. If at all they send you a non compliance mail the following month, come up with some genuine looking excuse. One of my teammate didn't report to office for 2 seperate months last year and he was not even doing 12 days every month but still he had not received any non compliance mail.

Talk to manager first and address your issue. He will tell to raise bto exemption request. They will approve it but the reason must be genuine and if its due to medical issues then you can submit reports and medical certificate.
