How employee exits actually happen

• First the brain checks out
• Then the heart follows
• Then comes the badge/ access card That's the order. Every time. The real exit always happens before the official one.

How employee exits happens by the book:

• HR talks to your manager
• Manager gives feedback
• There is some blah blah - you know nothing positive will come out kinda - chat
• Then here's the boot
• There's the door
• And if you are lucky "Here's some cake"

Fact is, Less than 1% of orgs do exits right. 99% would rather focus on onboarding. Thats the reality we live in.
