How effective is vibe coding for production

"Vibe coding for production" - what does that phrase even mean ?

Vibe coding is just a part of coding, whether you do it 100% from your own mind, or take a bit of help from AI.

But after that you have to write tests, put it through unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, security testing, acceptance testing, and fix all the bugs found in all the testing, and then the code becomes ready for production. All that need remains the same, whether your original code was vibe coded or not.

If you don't do all of the above, no code is good enough for production, whether it was generated with vibe coding or otherwise.

So "vibe coding for production" is meaningless. It's the whole QA process that you do after the code has been generated, determines whether the code is ready for production or not, not the process of coding itself ( vibe or otherwise ).
