Trending @Cognizant; How does the bench period work?

I joined in Dec’23 as PAT. Someone told me that you can’t be released from your first project till 18 months. After that if you’re released, you’ll be on bench for few months.

  1. How much is the bench period?
  2. What if we can’t find a project within that timeline?
  3. What if my project ended before 18 months?

It's not project but it's account..... you won't be released to PDP for 18 months but can remain non billable under the account. Once you complete 18 months and you are still non billable then the account can release you to PDP(bench)
