How does subscription price gets calculated for a consumer by a company

Why it is hard to create a platform, where we pay a monthly subscription fees to a platform uber/ ola / rapido blah blah. In that subscription fees, where as a user I will get a confirmed ride under x minute. I am not interested in building this, i already building something crazy crazy but wanted to understand why no one is doing this.

As a company of bigger scale having good enough customers, can't they create high density geo based subscription plans.

My thinking is i could nudge the drivers I will help you generate m amount of money in the month by charging a flat subscription model . At the same time i could nudge the users to buy the subscription plan in which they will get confirmed ride if riders are available. If no rider we can't do anything but if there are they couldn't reject. If I am unable to get them a ride within the time frame, more time they wait per minute I will reduce the the charges of the ride. Threshold could be decided , after which we will make the upcoming/ride free later but major gist is this. I will pay for the ride from my pocket. Yess I am ready to make loss

From driver's pov they will be assured of that they will make money which is promised

If not we could reimburse remaining amount. The kind of demand

If riders are not accepting then that amount will be deducted from the promised amount. I don't want to give rider the option to accept it or not. Either you accept and you are inactive.

Yes they will be allowed to choose service area, but not at the moment when they get the user ride confirmation

If anyone works in this field I want to understand the metrics of how many people book ride in a particular day, how many riders are available in any highly user dense geographical location.

Sorry I read everything but couldn't understand:

  1. Are you saying you will give a fixed salary to each rider per month, even if they complete 0 rides in 1 month?

  2. "If they are they couldn't reject" - why would they accept a ride with a lower cost? If the fee is going to be higher, how is Uber worse?

Also the problem with Uber usually is when the ride is from "high density area" to "low density area"

How does your system solve this?

  1. A better way to say rather than fixed salary is i will provide you the customers, it is rider who will accept. If they don't it is their loss. I will reduce final payment by the ride price. Given that out of hundred ride you could reject 3-4 rides

  2. they get a assurance of payment at the month end which was promised. Uber is worse more as a customer I am waiting for 30 mins still no driver accepting the ride. And still keeps telling me to wait 🫣

I liked the Blusmart model. With a subscription, they let you schedule your rides well in advance. Was perfect for office goers. I still think that model could work. Safer rides, polite drivers, cleaner cars.
