how does one get into product management ?

i’m from engineering but i wanna move to product, is there a pathway that i should follow? is a mba degree the only way to get there? if not how do i transition?

Try to talk to a product manager within your org and start taking small items from him and then try to work out a transition to product within your org. This will help you the most in getting into the product role.
