How does it feels like working with Bank as Backend Engineer

I have been offered to work, 4 months ago, backend, nodejs at ENBD, 8YOE

It feels like oochi dookan feeke pakwan, They have a process for everything when it comes to make a decision. Lots of approvals from lots of higher departments

But as a backend dev how it feels like, when you yourself are forced not follow process.

Like here, they do not follow sprint planning, no clear timeline, no clear priorit of tasks. The feature you are working, you yourself do not know how you are going to build it, means you yourself have to scan 10, 20 previously build apis, scan old legecy code to relate that how these two fields are interlinked.

You yourself is connecting to people to drive it forward with requirement gathering. So much mess in head. It is feeling like I don’t belong here.

Need guidance on how to tackle this situation. Suggestions are welcome in comment section.
