How does everyone calculate hike %

Please dont get into calculation, otherwise you will notice that only deduction components have been increased

Increment given this year can be best calculated and understood with both years Form16 or F16. Compare F16 of both years and you will see what amount you actually got. TCS will never say this. I have done the F16 comparison for successive years in past years, and you will realize that the actual increment is in -ve percentage. Question is why this is negative, one reason for sure is the so called increment is added to your variable pay and this pay you don't get fully. So the trick used by TCS is innovative and calls for international award on best financial management.

The thing is you won't notice any difference when getting your monthly pay its only minor difference.🤬

Any hike at higher levels goes mostly into variable which they withhold. Basically rob you off your fair share.
