How does a recruiter know that I am a good candidate to hire?
What are the parameters used to determine if a candidate is good fit for hiring and picking this candidate for interview.

Depends on what role and years of experience they are hiring you for . In video calls they check your body language and confidence . Technical questions they will ask to check you skill level . Then they try to ask questions around team size you have worked with , any responsibility of challenging situations you have handled your expectations from the offer . They want to check how likely you are going to stick around and your confidence in handling tricky situations. Some might ask you questions about things a bit outside of your skill set just to see if you are updated about ongoing trends if it’s a consulting profile . Also why are you changing your current job , refrain from saying something negative there but more professional reasons like monetary or location based . Good luck :) .

Red flags : 1) the person looks overwhelmed or confused 2) very high expectations I want on-site lead blah blah 3) yes man , yes I will do this yes I will do that 4) over confident people who have very fancy resume but very unpolished look on video call means your resume is fake 5) he is pissed off at his current job , taking any present opportunity and might leave 6) over smart people who give vibes I can handle everything, their answers seem too motivational rather than practical

Similarity in resume and job description

Most of the time it is very subjective apart from your skills
