Getting points is going to be a little tough, most issuers stopped that as people were exploiting it. (transferring money to family members, get back, lather rinse repeat) So v few cards will give you milestone benefits/points.
You can register on RedGiraffe for rent payment using CC. I'd share my referral but cba right now. This platform has one of the lowest fees and is very convenient.
You can use HDFC PayZapp + RedGiraffe combo to pay rent. If you have HDFC card, then there's no surcharge for 1 rent payment/month (most banks charge 1% extra + GST)
