Ironically I found my love at a networking event which is not quite the place to find someone to date lol.

Tbh dating apps are a big no, there's really nothing there, shouldn't even bother trying. The old age trick still works, you go out, meet people and talk, yee, just like that. Now you have to ensure you are surrounded with the type of people you want to be with actually. Don't force love, it will come naturally.

As a person who never really talked much with girls, it's hard ngl. I couldn't even think of myself worthy to be in a relationship. I met her, we talked and I interacted with genuine interest of just knowing her and having a good time. It doesn't always have to be in a certain tone, a chill conversation is almost half the job done.
Later she messaged after the event, that she liked having my company there. I got the hint and asked to go out some day and it worked for us.

We often have a certain stigma of how we are gonna look if we say something and it doesn't land, what if I sound annoying or what if they don't like me. The simple solution to do this is "just do it". Ik weird but yea, just do it, it isn't worth so much of thinking.
