Hello, CA here! From last 8 years I have been filing ITRs of Individuals, Partnership Firms, Companies, Trusts etc. I do it myself, not through articles or juniors. Feel free to DM.
For the last financial year my income was not under the taxable category. Can I ignore filling ITR?
(For the current year too, I am not under taxable category 😌)
CAs won't do the aiTR filing. They will have article assistants who will do it. Individual IYR filing is not a remunerative task. So, of the CA is a recently big person, he won't even talk. He would simply forward you to one of his assisTants and they will take over.
The porer one or fresh in practice, will take it up, but will focus just getting it over. They won't offer any value add. Because for salaried people there isn't much to be done. And salaried people won't pay much either.
There is no need to a " knowledgeable" CA for ITR filing. Moreover, you can google and find better info.
