How do you deal with the loneliness that comes with freelancing and async work?

As the title says, I work remotely and do not have friends in the city. I have in a nearby city, but they are busy with their 9-5 and hanging out with their colleagues on weekends.

Living with a loving family helps, but I want to socialise apart from them.

First tell me which source you are utilising to get your gigs for freelancing 🙂. Sorry but I am looking for small gigs if any reliable sources are there. About your loneliness, i have gone through this. Try to join any training course, then join any gym, join any club if you are into it. Go solo to some places and hit on someone just casually and act as if you don’t know anyone in city. Since you will be solo, nobody will be that bothered by your approach
