Trending @Infosys; How do we get released from a project?

It won't be easy and is next to impossible. Needs a lot of tussle and mental stress to get released unless the project ends. Even if it ends, the manager will keep you in pool and will map you in next project.

You have to fight for it very hard. The other project's manager also need to be inclined towards you to map you in their project. Needs the involvement of delivery managers as well in extreme cases. In general, it won't be easy.

Alternatively what you can try is,
Go to InfyMe -> Search Employee Separation -> Click on Initiate Separation.

Check with your mentor, if you have been already completed 2 year then they should have to release you

Try for IJP/ Bridge prog

Official process is just IJP to get released from current project that too if u completed 18 months.
