How do VCs view if one of the co-founders is working part-time till the first funding round?

They will be okay with it as long as founder is willing to quit job and go full time on startup after getting funded

it is fine as long as the product you're building is absolutely crushing it

It's seen as a bit of lack of conviction in your own idea It's not a blanket no, but you need to at least say that you've communicated at your company that you're heading out, if the question comes up
