How do influencers get collabs?

Genuinely want to understand how can influencers reach out to brands for collabs? Everyone seems to be investing but no one seems interested in working

Also, if your company hires influencers please comment

So it's bidirectional. Anyone can approach.

Yes, even cred hires these firm for influencer marketing. Reason is

Two questions

  1. Can we not collab with brand directly? Eliminating middle men
  2. How does one approach these firms to sign us up?

  1. Yes, u can. But for that u need to be a big creator like 100k in niche like gen ai or 1M in mass like Ashish or nischal.

  2. Cold mail, contacts and networking.

Why are u asking these questions?

R u an influencer or wannabe one?

A lot of really popular influencers get reached out. Either through agencies they’re being represented by or brands usually contact them.

Micro influencers tend to DM brands, not a huge success ratio there. Or you just wait for a brand to reach out to you.

Influencer insights

Do influencers really earn a lot? Do you know any influencer who is earning a lot and working in a full time job as well? If being an influencer is easy and rewarding, why isn't everyone doing it? Is it going to stay for long ?
