Trending @Cognizant; How do I change my project ?

I am currently in an automation project, it's neither completely support nor a development project. I want to change into some python project , I recently finished 2 years in automation. How do I change? Even if I shift the company I want to shift as a python developer, what do you suggest ? Any seniors please help. Thanks in advance.
