I’m planning to move to Dubai soon and one of my biggest concerns is how to make friends and build a community in a new place. Also, I'm an introvert so it's not like i'll go around partying and meet people. For those of you who have moved to a different country, how did you go about meeting new people and creating a support network?

Join some interest groups, speak to colleagues and hang out with them.
P.S. dubai isn't the best place to make friends since people are here purely for money but you can get a decent circle
