How did you figure things out?

This question is to people who are in their late 20s or older.

Life shows its ups and downs to pretty much everyone. And when you are younger, living with adverse situations that impact your mental peace and health, paving your way becomes difficult. All this can lead to uncertainty about future, can make you doubt yourself and your decisions, or can make you think whether you would be able to make something of yourself or not.

If you ever felt like this, how did you handle it? What would you tell your younger self about how to navigate through these situations and feelings?

We fight for another day Nonsense about telling younger self, it passed, won't go back. Instead pass it to others

When I said 'what would you advise to your younger self', in my view, it is equivalent to 'what advice I would give to people younger than me'.

But don't you feel that mental pressure when you are surrounded with the unknown, dealing with all the negative thoughts and have no one but yourself to rely on?

What would you do in this situation?

If the pressure is becoming unbearable, I’d strongly recommend that you speak with people whom you trust, like parents, siblings and very close friends. Also, always make sure you are aware of a really good psychiatrist and a psychologist. Because it’s possible that you reach a biological limit to how much stress one can handle, and you might need professional help. No shame in taking help. Society is not intelligently designed to make sure you only get stress that you can handle. It will often go beyond that, and you’ll need social support and professional support to go through it. Cheers

Recently I talked to many of my school and college friends(all in late 20s) and everyone is in this same phase including me. All I could figure out of this is, life goes on.. and we have to deal with life and have to show up everyday like everything is normal. Stay strong mate

Thanks, that's what I am doing. Showing up, living through it all with the motto 'this too shall pass'.
