How did you decide to join your current company as a PM?
I joined Walmart because the competitors are incompetent, and I knew Walmart could outperform them even on a bad day. However, Walmart still needs a real leader. Most are yes-men here, who agree or disagree for the sake of progression.
College Placements. No other PM option

Not a PM but I decided to join because of money.
Became a founder. PM is like another job role that founders have to take care of pretty much.
I did like the role but being bootstrapped really limits your options. Very difficult to manage.
Joined initially as a Product Specialist , I was genuinely interested in a techno commercial role . Slowly moved into PM and now leading a team of PMs and Product Specialists . It was a natural progression and I have thoroughly enjoyed so far .
