How did the hype started that IT guys are making huge money? Have you seen what Healthcare guys earning?

I live in tier two city, and i've been visiting doctors lately for my mother and my own health issues. I went to private/govt hospitals and clinics, especially dentists, eye specialists, and neurologists, and the kind of money they're making in their hometowns honestly makes you question your own career choices.

On top of that, most of them also run private clinics, and they don't even hide it, they'll straight up tell you to come to their clinic.

Meanwhile, the narrative online is always "IT guys are swimming in money." Sure, IT has good pay, but when you compare with healthcare earnings, especially specialists in smaller cities, IT guys will look poor.

And Al isn't even close to replacing them, and demand for healthcare only keeps growing with this population.

IT has all white money so it's visible and no body hides it but other places they have black also like bribes, doctors private consultation fees which is in cash, obviously police are way more wealthy, judges(high court judge recently made house in 1lakh sq feet land in my tier2 city), shopkeepers/businessman do all transactions in cash so no one find out(a jewellery shop servent stole 1cr worth of gold over 5 years and owner didn't even realise until some outside report it whom he is trying gold mentioned to owner), a government civil engineer with ~50k salary earns ~1cr in a year in small town or village. Perk of all these professions has no income taxes so extra 30% earning 😶. In the end only IT guys salary is visible but not these guys so only IT guys earns way more officially not actually

The thing I have noticed and its personal observation Idk if it applies to all or not:- IT guys get a pay slip or have a defined pay structure where it is mentioned how much they will be getting paid yearly. There is no such things for docs or clinic I guess it all depends on no. of patient or people they consulted. Same goes for business owner small or big, no one has access to their books/records. More or less people it comes down to predictability.
