How can one change project and account?

I am allocated a project for the last 2 years and now want to switch my project and account as well. There is no onsite opportunity or growth. What is the process of project change and what time it will take ? Will it have any impact on the performance band if requested now for project change.

Talk to your manager first, they hold the key. It might affect your performance band if not handled well, so tread carefully.

If u r project is from a big and old account (for example Banking accounts) means it's little bit tough to get release from unit. But befor eto get release from unit/account get release from project. Later, even if u release from project the the unit is not allowing means just accept the project which satisfies u. Then from that new project u ask and know the flow to get release from the prev unit
