SOC is usually not boring , i was also assigned to triaging incidents for about 4 to 5 months . If u perform well u might get assigned to build projects which are very good tbh. But still if u wanna change ur projecf just drop a mail to your manager one of my team-mate did the same and is benched right now as he is rolled off from the project waiting for a new project hard lock
