How are the onsite opportunities for Java Devs at Service Based Companies?

So are Java Devs chosen for onsite opportunities? Or let me rephrase - do international java development projects come for service based companies?

I am aware that there are a lot of companies in India who hire contractual technical consultants from service based companies. But do international companies hire too? I have heard that most Java dev work happens here in India itself

Also, does onsite opportunities come for Java Devs in comparison to, let's day, Data Engineers or Salesforce folks.

Companies in question: Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture etc.
