Trending @Accenture; Horrible situation in Accenture
Thoese who think that there manager are only responsible for hikes and VP, it's not like that ...
It's from top management only.
I had word with Leadership in the morning,(yes I have good rapo with him and still I didn't get hike thats different part)
They told me if you have good offer go, we can't able to match...that too 30% also.

100% true. Same situation for me, I had got 12% hike in Dec 24 and I am in same CL from Sept 22. I had escalated to my project MD - CL 5 about my contributions and spoke about my due for promotions, she said no budget and said 12% is good hike and for sure for a promotion in June 25. Now I have got 6.5% hike and now I have resigned with 70% hike, but they are not ready to retain me even for 45-50%.
So keep. No. Hopes

Thanks for sharing

There are less projects. Company is letting go of employees who have resigned. No hike against retention . It’s not just with Accenture but with other service based companies too unless the project is extremely critical and the client needs you badly.

Is it like tough time for IT jobs is started ?

Not tough time. Let me give you an example. You need to migrate something from tech stack A to B. Initially there used to be X number of Developers, 2-3 architects, a team of QA and some managers. Now you need 3-4 developers who are capable of writing end to end test cases and knows how to write prompts for Open API. I saw this in my project itself. There were 8 developers initially. 6 were released as 2 were able to do the entire work with AI.

I guess the times are just bad everywhere. Accenture has less projects now than ever, if you are getting good offer maybe 25%+ then go for it!!

Good that you got new offer
