Trending @Accenture; Horrible people
I recently joined Accenture in Sep 2023, it's fine first but later I joined project then the real problems started I hate it literally working in the present project, you may all think because of work but no, work is nothing but the people in the project are horrible, manipulative.... I can't even describe how they act. I hate them even thinking to join the morning call literally feels like I'm entering into hell. Is there any way so that I can leave this project, don't suggest roll off pls, it's the thing no one gets in my project that means it's either you work in this project or give the resignation letter. What are your thoughts on this?
When I joined my current project 2 years ago, I remember the first call I joined, my hiring manager was scolding all the people on that call. And this went on happening on a Daily basis. He came into the call and question everything and everyone. So, I was a little skeptical on what was going on in the team. 2 months later, that manager left our team and a new manager came. New manager was patient and cooperative, he listened to everyone and took small steps to resolve issues. And in next 1-2 months everything seemed picture perfect in the project. Everything was going smooth, no daily drama, no frustration, everybody was doing thier job really well. So I believe sometimes its not us who are wrong, its a wrong person in a right place which troubles everyone. So, I think if you are able to spend some time in the project, things might start to normalise. And if they still don't, you always have opportunity to move out. Good Luck..🤞🏻🤞🏻
Raise it to HR and explain the situation. One of my friend was in same position and HR helped him to get tagged to different project!!!!
"What are your thoughts on this"? Are you seeking validation? This is a weird place for it. If you want advice - leave the job, simple as that Honestly, why suffer when you can be much more productive elsewhere. Manipulation, politics, backstabbing, overworking is the truth anywhere, everywhere in any workplace, you just have accept it/ignore it, can't run away from it Pick your poison.
I never want to seek validation and you know something there are totally 9 members two juniors (me and another) and 7 who are already working you know who work everyday we both juniors do it they don't do a single work even one hour not even a half an hour work and you know everyday roaster will be assigned and there if any work is assigned to someother names they will order us to do, nobody questions them because we are juniors and anything comes we will do and I never felt work like burden it's easy anybody can do so I never felt burden working but only people simply ruining my life. I know this manipulation, politics, backstabbing, overworking everywhere but shouldn't be there a strict work culture everywhere so that people dont have any mental breakdowns
Simply just lower down your productivity till u find new opportunities
Just concentrate on your work, don't care about your colleagues.
