Honestly, I don’t think love usually starts as love.

It begins with something much simpler. A little liking. A little curiosity. Conversations that slowly get deeper. Understanding each other. Caring in small ways. And most importantly, effort from both sides.

Over time, you notice things. How they react when you are low. How you feel when something hurts them. How their happiness somehow starts mattering to you.

Love grows quietly from these moments. It is rarely a ready-made feeling.

And this is true for many kinds of love. A mother’s love for her child. A father’s bond with his daughter. Friendships. Siblings.
