Honest review on scaler data science course?

I used to work with scaler and confirm this is true. Founders have lost empathy towards learner. It's the next Allen lakhs of students and a few are getting placed... Those few would have done it without scaler as well

Do not join this DSML course for placements, coz its probably less than 5%.
No transformation journey with scaler data course

95% placements which they claim is a 2-3 yr old KPMG audit report when there was lots of hiring in software engineering.

Zero students of Data science in that report
How can u trust someone who is mis selling data to teach u data science. Honestly they manufactured audit report at peak of hiring

Srikanth Varma who is leading the course is not teaching in live course lectures.

Current teachers are hired with just 1yr of teaching experience. Good professionals but they seriously lack teaching skills.

And u wont find anything bad about them on LinkedIn coz they dont engage on bad posts in feat of it to spread and manipulate engagement by FREE sessions

Core thing they are selling is course with placements.
Its just a learning course sold for 3lakhs.

After finishing my BSc, I took a year off and was honestly confused about what to do next. I had no background in analytics or data science and was looking for a master’s option that didn’t require attending college full-time. That’s when I came across Scaler. I did my research, read reviews, watched videos, and tried to figure out if it was the right choice.

Looking back, I’m glad I joined. It wasn’t perfect, but it met my expectations. I was looking for structure, guidance, and placement support, and I got that.

It wasn’t easy, though. It required consistency, lots of practice, and facing multiple interview rejections. The interview prep material and AI mock interviews really helped me improve. I eventually received an offer from the company where I’m currently working, and the course played a big role in that.

One of my friends also got placed twice through the program, first as an intern and then in a full-time role. I’ve seen negative reviews online, but I can only speak for my own experience, which has been positive.

Coming from a Civil Engineering background at NIT Agartala, I had initially started preparing for UPSC after graduation. Unfortunately, I couldn’t clear it, and after months of trying to enter the corporate sector without success, I decided to explore opportunities in the IT field.

💡 One suggestion I’d share is that Scaler could introduce weekend batches to better support working professionals.

As someone who has had an experience with other data science course, I feel it is a great course. But it is upon us to use it to get the best value out of it. Yeah it is pricey indeed but the support, structure found in this course is not something I've seen elsewhere.

I had a great learning experience with this DSML course. The best part of the program is the industry-oriented projects. They are designed around practical, real-world scenarios and give a clear idea of how these tools are actually used in real life. Another standout feature is the AI-based mock interviews. Being able to attempt interviews anytime is extremely helpful for preparation and building confidence. The learning dashboard is also very well designed, allowing you to easily track your progress throughout the course. Additionally, the resume-building feature is highly valuable and helps in structuring and presenting your profile effectively. Lastly, their customer support is fast, responsive, and reliable, which makes the overall learning journey smooth and stress-free.

I joined Scaler’s DSML program with a commerce background and initially found the concepts quite challenging. If you are serious about transitioning into data roles and ready to put in daily effort, it can add value.

I joined scaler in Mar2022. Honestly this course has helped not just to enhance my technical knowledge but rather on where and how to apply my theoretical knowledge. Coming from the Statistics background it was very fascinating to see people using Statistics in day to day life. But where do you stuck? It is the gap between theoretical & technical knowledge. On how to implement your theoretical knowledge to practical life.

This course has not only helped me to gain the basics of programming, rather on how to approach a problem strategically and be a problem solver.
