I just was very cruel to myself for my own financial insecurities! This instilled a fear in me that shattered my hobbies, mental peace and creativity. I ended up being afraid to take any risks.
If my current in hand salary was guaranteed for life starting this Tuesday, my mindset says, that's it, I am free and I thought, nothing can stop me now and gave up the rat race
This resulted in I daydreaming about alternate careers. Why to debug code, I am never gonna enjoy it... I have 100 dogs to rescue in life else I am failure but I don't have time to do all that in this lifetime. Chasing appraisals results in not living at all!
After meeting people, self introspection and podcasts from people, I realised its my true calling to be a history teacher, its okay to leave the grind I should dust myself off and teach kids! It is so hard now to imagine leaving your comfort zone after years of chasing money. You need so much courage and letting go of societal pressure. You need self love and kindness...
TLDR - Don't be like a greedy person obsessing over CTC to go exactly the way they want! Don't reject your true passions due to money fears. Dust yourself off and dream big! It's okay to want a simple life as long as you promise to be happy!
