Trending @Accenture; Honest answers please, are there any selfish reasons involved for leaderships on RTO?

Not officially confirmed but I feel this is just to filter out the employees with a reason that they were not compliant to save cost involved for hikes and variable pay. For those who are 100% compliant they might have tight budget.

Absolutely spot on 💯
You wouldn't want to layoff people and be a devil in the eyes of media. But internally, try to make the culture so unbearable all of a sudden than people are forced to resign.

I'm seeing folks being deliberated put in PIP/CIP. Moreover, some folks are being told that the RTO mandate would be for 3 days a week in the coming days.

There's also truth in the fact that there's pressure from the executives to enforce RTO so that the markets can shift from an employee centric one (arose during COVID) to an employer centric one.

Hope this makes sense.

They are just following the government protocol from what I understand. Even they are visiting office on designated days. More of political pressure from commercial builders and nexus I believe.

Main reason is cabs ,pg , hotels, and government pressure for rto. Because all these will be beneficial from IT workers..

That's funny because it says that it's ok to loot employees who are already underpaid and struggling to escape toxic environment.

In SEZ area government has given some favour for companies so government may ask for office presence. Not sure, I have heard this on news channel.

The selfish reason that they don't want their employees to cheat them by employees doing work in another company like freelancer and moonlight. They don't risk like infosys employees while resigning they have took the project along with them to cts.

Its also to make sure we dont find a way to have time for passive income because while covid lot of side hustle culture had started and RTO does not allow you to persue that!

How ASE will be mentored in WFH, Accenture wants people to come to the office, then they will assign few ASE to each senior folk for mentoring.

In the pre-cvid era, every SSE was given 2-4 ASE to train and get work done by them.
