I like to spend some time alone by myself, but that's because I want to. But I never feel lonely. In my free time, I go to gym regularly, talk to the girls there, make friends, meet for dinners, movies, outing etc. Actually, in our IT lifestyle, it's difficult to find time for the activities, forget about feeling lonely.
If you are feeling lonely, then that means you need to make some extra efforts to increase your social contact.
