Honest answer: Are you enjoying any moment in tcs office?

I reach office around 9-9:30 pm and go straight to gym in office. At this time it's sooo crowded that this is the only time I want to push away even girls.

After around 1 hour of sweating and waiting, i somehow finish the workout, head to canteen and have not much enough protein avg taste food.

Then I head to odc and my work starts. No cute girls, all aunties with heavy pitch distracting me from focusing.

Somehow I finish work by 5 PM and starts to home, at which the traffic is at peak. And in between useless manager calls without setting up a meeting asking for status which i already updated in Jira.

I manage the update and post reaching home, fully tired wanna go to bed, but with the useless client meetings where manager just hypes client, "The team is focusing on high value delivery with emphasis on AI. Last week we presented the POC to stakeholder and there are discussions on its knockoffs."

• now keep in mind there were no such developments, but manager has to show useless things to client. And what's worse, sometimes in between calls he randomly calls me or my teammates name and says you can give a brief of your analysis work from past week. When usually we say what we achieved last to last week.

And then it's almost 10:30 pm. I wanna talk to family but few are asleep and also my urge to watch insta doens't die easily, so 30 mins become 2 hours.

And next day late wake up, repeat. Mind you, I earn decent for my age, that means around 70K with 5+ yoe, and I don't care even if it's 50K, but I want some time back man. Money can be earned anytime but the time can't be enjoyed if it's gone.

P.S - for any trips I plan, my manager says I have to inform 2 months in advanced so he can take approvals from HRs since it's greater than 3 days.

I mean, wtf, is this what engineering graduates are dreaming? Then it's trash
