As an Indian organization, it is surprising to see major regional festivals such as Sankranti and Ugadi marked as optional holidays, while Christmas is declared a mandatory holiday.
Can someone guide me on the steps to apply for optional holiday in infyme
Even though its Indian Organisation., is it working only for Indian clients ? This Indian organisation is there at worldwide and also having clients worldwide.
Christmas is an International occasion and it’s being celebrated by worldwide people so it is declared as mandatory holiday.
There is no such logic. 2025 Christmas was an optional holiday in some of the DCs
Optional Holiday works in group, you can take one holiday of the two in a group.
Sankranti and Ugadi arw in a group. you can take only one out of 2

Anyway you will get only 10 holidays every year. Never more and never less. Rest all you can apply as leaves. It's simple, no need to complicate.
