Maybe it is different now, but I’ve been there once during june and it was not a good experience. Drive from Bangalore, roads were good, but when we got there the whole place was like a swamp. Pockets of water stagnated between rocks and plenty of plastic and waste all around.

Was bothered by people carrying oil in pepsi bottles offering you massages. Didn’t know it was a thing until i saw it. We walked around hardly for half hour and drove back.
