Does the basic plan Gold have parents involved in the members? I got an email to enroll parents into my plan. Does that email mean I have the option to include parents in my gold plan without any extra premium or if I include I will have to pay more premium?

No. You need to pay premium for your parents or in-laws, based on their age, the premium will go high, you can upgrade your plan but can't downgrade throughout your tenure in tcs. You can check the premium in the beneficiary page
