HIS beneficiary removal
How dumb this HIS portal is… They are only giving one option as “deceased” to remove from insurance beneficiaries
I think we can remove after 3 years of adding the beneficiary is possible, it's mentioned while we are adding itself.
No bro they are very clever . They only mention if you delete beneficiaries you can't add them for next 3 years . They didn't mention if you add beneficiary in current financial year you can't remove them for next 3 years . Wtf bro . They are very clever.
Yesterday I raised a ticket for the same . He replied that according to policy you 3 years is the locking period if you add beneficiary in current financial year. So you have to wait for 2 more years to delete them .
Now whenever when you add a new beneficiary it is showing a popup message like you can’t delete for another 3 years. But last year we didn’t received any sort of disclaimer
I added my mom last year and this disclaimer was displayed to me that for next 3 years I wont be able to remove them from HIS. I think that is the reason why we see only option to remove now as Deceased.
After 3 years from date of addition, there may be other options than deceased as well.

It's clearly shows before adding.
Multiple pop-ups shown before adding. So can't complain if someone didn't read before clicking ' ok '
