hired on growth Basis?

Joined recently in an Inc. Met with manager, he said that I am hired on growth Basis. But not getting what he was saying. What is "hiring on growth Basis" is it not related to hired based on project requirement.?

will it be fine to stay in org in this case or better to move out. Another MNc is offering me. Shall I join MNc. I am confused is this good to be here or shall I move.. I joined here 2 days back.
