how tf people are getting hikes and promotion in august and September, as far as i know it usually happenes around june and december, am i missing something? Can anyone explain?

There are 4 cycles in Accenture. Dec, Mar, June, sep

Out of 4 cycles, 2 cycles are main Dec and June. Generally for the people whose promotions are pending from long, or who are trying to quite the company and they are getting retained or for ASEs promotion, Sep and Mar cycle is being used.
