Hi..Is TCS retaining by matching CTC?? Manager told he will match,but now saying retention policy not there

Once dropped paper never look back move on....

TCS is retaining employees but not matching with what you have in your hand. If you want to saty with TCS than They will give you max 15% and the all money will be added in Performance area and Retention Incentive.

Your manager may agree but corporate will not. TCS is maintaining no retention policy at present.

I got retained in September, but they didn't match the CTC.. They gave 30-35% but I had a 55% offer in hand.. I don't want to move out because of personal reasons, hence I accepted and continuing..

Retention depends on how critical you are and business needs. Q3 has less client pressure and limited requirements, which could be a factor.

Congratulations you got played now reality stuck you sorry to hear but this is the fact they don’t do retention. Because in tcs you are just resource which can be replaced anytime
But if we have influential people for your support in tcs then anything can happen even new policy can be made. Better to switch because now that they know you are planning they will things difficult for you

If you are senior, then take what they give and stay here
