Higher Education by applying LWP
Hi Friends,
I am willing to pursue higher education (MBA) and planning to take LWP frim TCS and pursue my aspiration.
After I complete MBA and come back to TCS, Will TCS give me a role change and salary increment.
Please help me with the above. Thanks

Not sure about salary increment but definitely you can get Role change. Once you start reporting to RMG you can inform which role you are Looking, accordingly they will search for project.

There was a friend who had 3 years of experience, then he did higher education by taking LWP, when he completed and came back to TCS he was offered 10.5 LPA. He has joined Capg with 16. So check what floats your boat

If you are planning to pursue MBA from a Tier 1 Bschool, then try to crack placements on campus if the college allows placements for TCS sabbaticals. (keep TCS Lwp strictly as a backup). TCS recognizes MBA and will give you a Salary and role upgrade BUT your career henceforth fully depends on your manager. If at all you do choose to join back then do not stay beyond 1 year unless you are offered onsite.

Here's what you can expect regarding role change and salary increment after completing your MBA and rejoining TCS on LWP:
- Role Change: TCS offers opportunities for role changes based on your newly acquired skills and qualifications. Your previous experience at TCS, along with your MBA specialization, will be considered when determining suitable roles. You can discuss your career goals with your manager and the HR department to explore potential openings that align with your MBA and interests.
- Salary Increment: Completing an MBA can make you eligible for a higher salary bracket at TCS. The increment amount typically depends on your pre-MBA experience, MBA specialization, institute reputation, and overall industry standards for MBAs. It's important to note that there's no guaranteed role change or specific salary increment after an MBA. However, TCS does recognize higher education and its potential to add value to your skillset. Here are some suggestions to increase your chances of a favorable outcome:
- Discuss your plans with your manager: Inform your manager about your intention to pursue an MBA and your career aspirations after completing it. This will help them keep you in mind for suitable opportunities upon your return.
- Target your MBA specialization: Consider specializing in a field that aligns with TCS's business needs or growth areas. This can make you a more attractive candidate for relevant roles.
- Maintain communication with TCS: While on LWP, try to stay connected with your former colleagues and managers. This will help you stay updated about TCS and potential opportunities.

Thankyou for the details
Can anyone suggest which stream would be better to opt during MBA ?? to get a good salary at TCS ?
and Also if I want to become a business analyst then which I should take?

You need to discuss this in entirety with the HR and your current manager. Have information about the role you aspire to join and all the requirements for it

Yes you can ask for promotion according to the grade you are interested and knowledge you are having .
