Growth in Infosys? Yeah, I mean if you want your resume to look impressive, you can start as a fresher in the company. Toh inital growth toh hai company mein. The Infosys designation hierarchy is also well-defined. Lekin long-term ke liye it can be too much. Also, the increment is also not very good.

Umm..for freshers Infosys is a good place to begin a career. But for long-term I don’t know if its worth it. I mean the pressure they put on the employees I’ve heard is insane. From what I’ve heard about Infosys designation hierarchy is that the position starts from associate consultant and goes upto manager and senior managers.

Mujhe nahi pata about the hiearchy in Infosys. All I know is they really push their employees to work and work. They have no concept of work-life balance. I see my friends attending meetings even after office hours. I see managers calling my friends even when they are on leave. Quite unprofessional behaviour if you ask me. But, yes they pay really well. But what’s the point of earning so much when you can’t even take time out for yourselves?

I worked as a mid-level employee in Infosys for 3 years and then I switched to another company with a senior-level role. The 3 years in Infosys was pretty great, but growthwise well that explains my joining another company. The hierarchy in Infosys goes like E0-E2 for freshers, E3-E6 for mid-level roles and E6-beyond for executive roles.

I don’t exactly know the heirarchy in Infosys but I know that its completely opposite of Accenture. In accenture fresher level is 13, here fresher level is 0. So, it goes that way. You don’t have to worry about growth, Infosys is a very good company, full job security you will get.

You will get plenty of opportunities for growth in Infosys. If you are joining as fresher, you can work your way up through hard work and dedication, but you have to be willing to work. You can learn a lot there but there is also a lot of pressure, so only join if you can handle that. The hierarchy in Infosys is divided into 6+ levels, as far as I know. Means, like E0-E2 is for freshers, E3-E6 for is mid-level roles and E6 for executive roles.
