Hidden Benefits From Client Project
Hello Mates😎 This is to ask the hidden Benefits or Truths or Lies working in a client project , Definitely there are something which freshers or newly joined in project don't know about it like will give you an example that you can reimburse Headphones in few projects , You can get WFH using Client Exception and many more .I would like to hear other interesting things .Please share we might get something new in it.
I think your job is in general more secure when you're on a client project. You become an external face for the company and cannot be kicked out as easily
Yes correct my tcs manager follows with most of the requests and fullfil it too without making any excuses just I have to say Client demand 😅
Same here. I don't misuse this facility. But yes, being an IC (individual contributor) resource on a client's project is a blessing... 😎
Biggest benefit is you get a chance to impress the client directly and get hired by them or onsite from them.
I used to know a guy who was in onsite in Singapore. He built great rapport with the client. His manager wanted to bring him back. Every time they try to bring him back, the client would reject it. He stayed in onsite for many more quarters this way.
Yes correct but you can't join for 6 month into the client company after leaving tcs ,if am not wrong .
You are also not supposed to work for any tcs competition for 12 months :)
Nobody follows that once you are out. Neither does TCS have the time to pursue cases individually

I would say just handle it with care, don't finish work at given time ,tell them I am working on it will take time .Even if you finish don't them tell let them ask you two to three times then inform about .If you do more work you will get more .Just pretend half of the time and half of the work on it .🙏 hopefully this will work .
Our project got one more year of wfh based on client approval (no deductions in salary or variable)
