Hi Guys , I Need Career guidance
Im having 12 years of experience in Automation Testing and Testing..Kind of reached up the ceiling Salary wise in Testing in mid 20s . Im not getting any calls for my experience in the Testing area also Salary slab wont be matching .. So people need your advice on what should be next steps i should take . Is there anything i could learn to go to the next step of my career ? Moving to Dev is not possible realistically as no company would hire a 12 year experience guy with just learning experience Dev and at my package too.please need ur help
Why can't you move to dev ? You might get burnt in the initial months. but you will get there.
Developers are also learning new things for new projects. Change the prespective
Problem is experience when i say 12 they expect someone like an architect or someone who can lead..
whats the package you looking at this experience ? and what are you being offered ?
Im being offered close to 30 as max which is not even 30 percent so switching is not worth so want to know if any QA earn more than that with any specific skills or should go out of QA for next step ?
