I need suggestion
My manager criticising and demotivating mentally torturing me and my teammate as well. For every silly mistake he is telling will give a bad rating on I count . Even though he is not allowed to release from the project.
So my teammate and I are thinking of dropping an email to HR and upper level management against him.
Kindly guide me. one email from my side by putting another teammate in cc is enough or shall we drop individual email ?

I have been there in my previous organization.
Remember a few things my friend,
- He has authority over you inside the campus. Outside the campus, both are the same.
- Rapidly upskill yourself with niche technologies, get certified, do self projects and make yourself future ready.
- You can try something new like, go to InfyMe -> search Employee Separation -> click on Initiate Separation and navigate to your next.
I chose options 2 & 3, you can try as you wish.
Dropping a mail against him will be similar to sending a mail to HRs who always reply with "I will get back to you". In short, nothing will happen to the manager and you will be more stampeded.

This issue is not only with me .. my teammates are also facing the same.. they are also ready to complain against him

Also remember, in corporate many people will tell you in private that this is wrong, this person is unethical. But publicly they will never raise their voice.
Unless and until you are 100% sure that they will stand by your side, don't go for a fight alone, you won't find anyone standing and supporting you except yourself.
Also, I raised a HEAR issue and the HR called me to compromise and eventually I had to and the person who did the wrong, no action was taken against him. It wastes both your time and emotions. Better, just move on and fund something better.
And if you are absolute about raising the complaint, then make sure the above concerns that I mentioned are satisfied, otherwise it will be very messy and stressful for you.

If you have problem with the Manager and he is not relieving you to go for other projects then one solution is IJP. Apply some relevant IJP and Crack it. If you get selected then your manager will not have any control yo stop you. He should release you in 60 days for sure as per the policy. Also, it helps your career to choose your desired role.

Agree with @God_Of_Blunder . It'll be a waste of time. Your manager and HR both are part of management and will take each other's side - leaving you / teammates all by your own. You need to have a strong reason & proof to escalate it to HR. If you want to go the HR way, then you better have solid proof.
Better you go with these options-
You can request your manager for proj change
Or
Apply for IJP
Or
Switch by reskilling

We have proofs also. Bcoz him many employees resigned and we have emails against him... And one year back I raised a case in HEAR. After that 3-4 months his behaviour was good but again started
. So I need a suggestion from you guys

It's like complaining to the Pakistani embassy about the te** activities in india 😂
