In Nov 2023 , I had joined a new project and then unfortunately had to go on leave , since no leave had to apply LWP , wanted to extend LWP but project didn’t and hence asked for release. Project HR also didn’t help to extend LWP or help
with exceptional LWP. I Was less than 60 days in that project got released mid of December. My Unit tagging also changed to others in Jan as was unallocated for more than a month due to LWP approvals.
Post I was released my supervisor sent me official mail saying we don’t do your appraisals as u were less than 60 days.
Since I was released and on rmg and no leaves I approached regional HR who knew my case, they helped in applying exceptional LWP for 3 Months post approval. LWP was applied in system 1st March for the period 1st Jan -31st-29th March. Which I didn’t knew unless I joined back. Ideally should be 90 days. After joining back it was a shock for me that I got band D which means was appraised behind my back without goal sheet without Ipf without ratings without being initmated by supervisor and HR.
I was active in system till 29th Feb 24 as LWP got applied in system on 1st march.
Now I am approaching each and everyone and they all are saying as per policy 90 days and above only are in no band curve.
First HR did mistake that she didn’t apply 90 days Told me on call applied for 3 months
2nd as per policy no feedback from previous projects were taken and directly gave a Band D as per their convenience without intimating an employee.
How fair was this with me after surviving 15 years with TCS. No Senior is helping as it’s HR’s fault who will support me for my loss of 1 lac package 😓
