I am planning to go on ML in dec and informed accordingly to manager, they put me on bench for three month before ML, What should I do?

Don't worry about the bench,they will send you back to your project .you cannot go to maternity directly from bench

They are asking to join other project till then but I don't find it good to go to other project for only 3 months why they did like this
