HR will not give a chance to bench employees to serve notice period, they will relieve you from the organisation within a week. Better to get forced to resign from HR, in that you will get 5 months salary.

On bench they won’t let you serve the notice period

They can't stop you. In your contract it is written carefully either you can terminate or company can terminate giving 90 days notice in advance. No one can force you to resign.
