No don’t submit any original documents, better not to sign any bond. Look for better opportunities in terms of leaning and compensation.

Also check how have the layoffs been globally and locally for the company. And the publicly available financials of at least two years. They should have enough funds (and hopefully growing year on year) to afford your employment for as long as you want.
